Outreach:
The IPC Outreach Committee is dedicated to the development of its students both as professionals
and as members of the OSU community. As students become engrossed in the work at their particular college,
it is possible to feel detached from the university as a whole, especially considering the size of
The Ohio State University. We are committed to improving this relationship and are working to incorporate
OSU into your lives and vice-versa. Furthermore, the 3000 students at our six professional colleges
constitute a vast pool of knowledge, skills, values and personalities that have and will continue to make
many great changes in this world. The Outreach Committee strives to take advantage of the opportunities
that exist as a result of this unique mix of student so that all of us may benefit and grow as
professionals with our colleagues. To this end, the Outreach committee coordinates a number of professional
activities, including the annual Inter-School Case Competition and the Buckeye Savvy, a new publication
with information about life outside the professional colleges that is distributed to all first year professional students.
