This year’s IPC Service Committee has the highest hopes for an active, enthusiastic bunch of students to get involved in both the Ohio State University and greater Columbus communities.
We are currently planning on continuing our involvement with programs such as Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Ronald McDonald House as well as setting up events including food and clothing drives.
In an effort to help with hurricane relief efforts, the Service Committee in coordination with the Social Committee will donate proceeds from the upcoming Halloween Party to the American Red Cross and to animal relief efforts.
We also plan to establish a database of other service events that professional students can use to get involved on their own. Students need not be elected to IPC to participate in the Service Committee planning and events.
