IPC offers POTENTIAL reimbursement of up to $750 per academic year for students who attend professional development experiences, such as conferences and career fairs, through the Professional Development Fund (PDF). To qualify, you must be a professional student and the experience must have occurred within the dates for eligible events (either fall or spring cycle). More information regarding student eligibility can be found under our "Guidelines" tab. The PDF window opens twice during the year, in September and April.

After turning in application you can expect:

  1. An email with the reward amount within 60 days after the application deadline

  2. Checks will take up to 90 days after notification of funding before becoming available for pickup. You will receive an email when your check is ready.

Important Information Regarding Recent Updates to the PDF Process:

PDF is for individual students. If students would like to attend an event/conference/service trip and then apply to have their registration potentially reimbursed, then they can apply for their designated cycle based off event dates. PDF is NOT guaranteed. Just because one applies does NOT mean we can provide funding to them. It is based on the application, receipts, and grading rubric by our justices. If a student cannot afford to attend this program without this reimbursement, they should not attend or not account that they will receive money from us, since we cannot guarantee funding regardless of the event. This is VERY competitive process, and the essay portion matters extremely highly in our evaluation of your application. It is necessary to use personal examples and really explain the benefit of the cycle. Your receipts are also extremely important--we no longer will track down students for correct receipts, if they are not up to the standards listed on the examples on the website, we deem them invalid and cannot provide reimbursement for those funds. The application cycles are set permanently based on the bylaws of our constitution from the university. Unfortunately, we cannot provide early applications or approvals of money for any applicant within PDF.
